Job Summary
Develop engaging Spanish lessons that meet the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of young learners while ensuring their health and safety. Interact with children using Spanish to encourage involvement in group activities involving colors, shapes, numbers, and sharing, treating each child with dignity and respect. Prepare a warm, safe, and orderly environment that permits exploration, and plan instruction using program themes. Establish communication with other teachers to ensure accurate parent reporting and observe, record, and report significant individual and group behaviors. Travel to two locations daily across Chester Springs, Collegeville, Jeffersonville, Norristown, Plymouth Meeting, and Royersford. This part-time role offers a $1,000–$3,000 hiring bonus, Monday–Friday hours, and a paid CDA pathway within a supportive leadership team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be Fluent in Spanish
- Min. 2 years of experience in early childhood education & Spanish teaching
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in ECE, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in the above categories and 1 year of experience with children
- An associate's degree in the above categories and 2 years of experience
- An associate's degree includes 30 hours in the above categories and 3 years of experience
- requiring you to travel to two locations per day
