Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion, while providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment. Act as a positive role model for children under 13, observe state and school policies, and perform management functions such as accurate attendance records and registration when assigned. Work 7:00–8:30 AM as a part-time, non-exempt employee at J.V. Forrestal Elementary School in Beacon, NY.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Warm, friendly, and upbeat
- Exceptional people skills
- Professional
- Reliable
- Prompt
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for 7:00 - 8:30 AM hours
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
