Job Summary
Site Director oversees the before and after school program at Manchester Elementary School in Pittsburgh. Responsible for day-to-day program quality, staff supervision, and PA DHS/OCDEL compliance under guidance of Regional Director. Lead activities (STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, homework support), supervise children and staff, maintain safe staff-to-child ratios, and manage attendance, registration, and scheduling. Serve as liaison between families, school administration, and the Healthy Kids Programs office; utilize the Playground App for clear communication. Part-time, Monday–Friday hours are 7:00–9:00 AM and 3:45–6:00 PM; expected to ensure regulatory compliance, maintain files and audit-ready documentation, and uphold program safety and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
- Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 1 year of experience working with children under 13
- Bachelor's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 3 years of experience working with children under 13
- Associate's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 4 years of experience working with children under 13
