Job Summary
Site Director for the Healthy Kids Programs Before & After School program at Rockwell Elementary School (Nedrow, NY). Part-time, non-exempt role supervising and guiding operations from 6:30–8:30 am and 2:30–6:00 pm. Responsible for program compliance with state regulations and host school requirements, leading engaging activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, homework support), overseeing daily operations (attendance/registration, scheduling, staffing levels), maintaining clear communication with parents/caregivers via the Playground App, and collaborating with the direct supervisor to ensure high-quality care, positive staff morale, and proactive problem-solving. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
