Job Summary
Lead after-school program operations at Parkview Preschool in Collingswood, NJ, overseeing compliance with state regulations and Healthy Kids Programs policies, directing program activities (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support), managing daily operations (attendance, registration, scheduling, staffing), and maintaining clear family communication via the Playground App. Requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of leadership in childcare/education, strong administrative and customer-service skills, knowledge of NJ licensing, ability to meet NJ DCF health requirements, and a split part-time schedule with morning 7:00–9:00 am and afternoon 2:45–5:45 pm shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred
- Five (5) years of professional experience working with children ages 5–12
- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in a childcare, education, or youth-serving organization
- Experience supervising staff, managing performance, and supporting consistent program operations
- Strong administrative and organizational skills in a service-oriented environment
- Experience using registration, enrollment, and attendance management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Excellent customer service and parent engagement skills
- Proven ability to build, mentor, and retain strong teams
- Understanding of staffing models, payroll management, and operational expenses
- Must meet all NJ DCF health requirements and be able to perform essential job functions
