Job Summary
Site Director for after-school program leads daily activities, ensures safety and compliance with state regulations, trains and supports staff, engages families via the Playground App, and drives community outreach. The role requires supervisory experience and a degree/pathway in a child-related field, with duties spanning program delivery, curriculum implementation, enrichment activities, and leadership in a school-age childcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
- Graduate degree in a child-related field orBachelor’s degree or endorsement in a child-related field or 48 semester hours with child-related subjects and 1 year experience or minimum 2 years programmatic experience with supervisory role with one of the following: CDA or Montessori or other credential or degree path
- One of the following management requirements: administrative supervisory experience or related coursework in management
- Pre-employment screenings required by Virginia state regulations
- Experience in supervising, orienting, training, and scheduling staff
- OSHA/childcare safety or CPR/First Aid preferred
