Job Summary
Plan activities and create environments promoting safety and age-appropriate development for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Supervise students in indoor and outdoor settings while maintaining classroom ratios and supporting consistent curriculum implementation aligned with GOLD objectives. Provide leadership and guidance to classroom staff within the Childcare Leadership Team, building trust-based relationships with families through respectful communication. Accurately document observations, significant events, and services provided while demonstrating strong teamwork and conflict resolution skills. Work 40 hours weekly from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with a starting wage of $17.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a childcare setting
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including passing required physical examinations, lifting up to 35 lbs, and maintaining active mobility throughout the workday
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred
- Current CPR, First Aid, Mandatory Reporting, Universal Precautions, and Medication Administration certifications preferred
