Job Summary
Lead Teacher for Before & After School programs. Responsibilities include program compliance with state regulations and policies, leading engaging activities aligned with curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, homework support), managing daily operations (attendance, registration, staffing), and clear family communication via the Playground App. Collaboration with direct supervisor to maintain high-quality care and positive team environment. Part-time schedule with morning and afternoon shifts at Monroeville Elementary School in Monroeville, OH. Employer-paid childcare benefit, telehealth/vision/dental, and 401(k) offered. Must have an associate degree or equivalent coursework related to child development or education.
Required Qualifications
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree in Child Development, Child Development Certificate OR Six college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and Nine college credits in Education, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, or any other field related to child growth or development.
- Must be medically cleared to perform all job duties and free of communicable diseases, including tuberculosis (TB).
- Demonstrates a positive, friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with children, parents, and team members.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct and appearance.
- Able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, and meet the physical demands of working with children.
