Job Summary
Lead Teacher for Healthy Kids Programs' Before and After School at Penn-Bernville Elementary. Responsibilities include creating hands-on activities per the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic enrichment, art, group activities), assisting students with homework, maintaining a safe and engaging environment, serving as a positive role model, staying on-site during program hours, and communicating with families via the Playground App. Requires relevant education credentials (Bachelor’s or Associate’s in related fields) and background check, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time schedule aligns with school hours (mornings and late afternoons). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field
- Bachelor’s degree including 30 credit hours in the above fields plus 1 year of relevant experience
- Associate’s degree in the above fields plus 2 years of relevant experience
- Associate’s degree including 30 credit hours in the above fields plus 3 years of relevant experience
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials plus 2 years of relevant experience
- 18 years of age
- Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
- Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB.
