Job Summary
Assist in providing quality childcare in a nurturing, safe environment using developmentally appropriate curriculum. Supervise children in the before and after school program, plan and instruct with age-appropriate activities, develop classroom displays, support diverse physical, emotional, and educational needs, communicate progress and concerns with parents, and maintain a safe, confidential environment. Maintain CPR/First Aid certification, complete training hours, and adhere to district policies and safety procedures. Flexible shifts include AM and PM blocks, with part-time or full-time options.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with children
- Minimum 6 months of experience
- Satisfactory criminal background check
- Negative TB test upon hire
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent desired
- CPR/First Aid Certification as required by the program
- Operate standard office equipment
