Job Summary
Oversee and enhance childcare programs by building relationships with children and families while ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. Design and implement age-appropriate learning activities, recruit and supervise staff, and manage shift scheduling, payroll, and time-off requests within budgeted hours. Monitor program performance, implement improvements, and attend departmental meetings as necessary. Foster a playful, family-friendly environment that promotes engagement and community trust among fitness facility members.
Required Qualifications
- Prior customer service and childcare experience
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification (must have infant, child & adult)
- At least 6 months of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging projects and activities for children
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine enthusiasm and passion for working with children
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
