Job Summary
Prepare and distribute meals and snacks for children and staff following USDA and licensing guidelines while maintaining safe kitchen and pantry sanitation. Monitor food inventory and ensure all food preparations comply with health department regulations. Assist in classrooms to cover breaks and transport children in a small bus to local elementary schools and field trips. Requires a clean driving record, high school diploma, and willingness to work Monday through Friday with no nights or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have clean driving record (no more than 2 violations in the last 5 years)
- Ability to pass background checks & health assessments
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience transporting children in a commercial vehicle or working in licensed childcare or afterschool program
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for large group food service, preferably in a childcare center
- Serv Safe
