Job Summary
Assist with the Before and After School Program for 5–12-year-olds at Candlewood Elementary School in Brookfield, CT. Deliver hands-on activities from the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art) and homework assistance; maintain a safe, healthy, clean, and engaging environment; model positive behavior; report to duty during assigned times and stay until the last child leaves; communicate daily with parents via the Playground App; follow state guidelines and program/host school policies; may perform management tasks such as accurate attendance, registration, and staffing as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.)
