Job Summary
Assist in the Before & After School Program at Candlewood Elementary School, Brookfield, CT, delivering hands-on activities aligned with Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework help) in a safe, healthy, and engaging environment. Serve as a positive role model, supervise and support children ages 5–12 during morning and afternoon sessions, communicate with families via the Playground App, ensure compliance with state guidelines and program policies, and may perform attendance, registration, and staffing tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferably 1 year of experience with kids under 13
- Medically cleared (TB)
- Able to bend, stretch, lift up to 50 lbs
- Warm, friendly, upbeat
- Exceptional people skills, reliable, prompt
