Job Summary
After School Care Assistant Teachers provide engaging, hands-on activities (fitness, STEAM, academic, art) and homework help following the Healthy Kids Curriculum. Maintain a safe, healthy, clean, and fun environment, act as a positive role model, and communicate daily with parents via the Playground App. May perform attendance, registration, and staffing tasks. Requires 18+, High School Diploma or equivalent, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; previous experience with children is preferred. Hours are 2:25pm–6:00pm for part-time service at school sites in Ravenna, OH or Tallmadge, OH. Employer-paid childcare for eligible school-age children, telehealth/vision/dental, AFLAC, 401(k), paid sick time, and growth opportunities are offered.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Preferably 1 year of experience with kids under 13
- Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift up to 50 lbs
