Job Summary
Assist with the Before and After School Program for 5–12-year-olds at Pittsburgh Manchester Elementary School. Facilitate hands-on activities (fitness, STEAM, academic enrichment, art, and group activities) per the Healthy Kids Curriculum, help students with homework, and maintain a safe, healthy, clean, and engaging environment. Serve as a positive role model, arrive prepared, and remain on-site until dismissal. Communicate daily with families via the Playground App and support attendance tracking, registration, and staffing per state regulations and program policies. This part-time, non-exempt role runs 7:00–9:00 am and 3:45–6:00 pm; salary is $13.50–$14.50 per hour, located at Pittsburgh Manchester Elementary School, Pittsburgh, PA.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of experience working with children under 13
- Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
- Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
