Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group sessions, while supervising homework completion. Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment, acting as a positive role model for children ages 5–12. Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App and observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school policies. Certain positions may manage attendance records, registration, and staffing. Work part-time during the 2026-2027 school year following the school calendar, with morning shifts from 7:00–9:00 AM or afternoon shifts from 3:00–6:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Warm, friendly, and upbeat
- Exceptional people skills
- Professional
- Reliable
- Prompt
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for morning program hours (7:00 – 9:00 AM)
- Must be available for afternoon program hours (3:00 - 6:00 pm)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13
