Job Summary
Assist with the Before and After School Program at Columbia Middle School Taylor Campus in Columbia, PA by facilitating hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic enrichment, art, and group activities), helping students with homework, and maintaining a safe, healthy, engaging environment. Serve as a positive role model, arrive prepared, and stay on-site until the last child is dismissed. Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App and support attendance tracking, registration, and staffing as needed while following state regulations and host school policies.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of experience working with children under 13
- Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
- Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB.
- Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
