Job Summary
Assist with hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic enrichment, art, and group activities) in the Before and After School Program. Support students with homework, maintain a safe, healthy, clean, and engaging environment, and serve as a positive role model. Arrive prepared and remain on-site until the last child is dismissed. Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App and follow state regulations, program policies, host school guidelines, and assist with attendance tracking, registration, and staffing as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of experience working with children under 13
- Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
- Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB.
- Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
