Job Summary
Join Healthy Kids Programs as a part-time Childcare Assistant for the Before & After School program at Bethel Elementary School. You’ll facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum (including fitness, STEAM, academic enrichment, art, and group activities), assist students with homework, and help maintain a safe, healthy, engaging environment. You’ll communicate with families daily via the Playground App, follow state regulations and program policies, and support attendance tracking, registration, and staffing as needed. This role supports children ages 5–12 and operates during school hours before and after the school day.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience working with children under 13
- Medically cleared of communicable diseases, including TB
- Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
