Job Summary
Part-time Childcare Assistant for the Before & After School program at Robert R. Graves Elementary in Port Ewen, NY. Responsibilities include facilitating hands-on activities from the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art) and homework completion; providing a safe, healthy, and engaging environment and serving as a positive role model; communicating daily with parents via the Playground App; observing state guidelines and host school policies; may perform attendance, registration, and staffing tasks. Requirements: 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent; preferably 1 year working with kids under 13; TB clearance; ability to bend, stretch, lift up to 50 lbs.; reliable, friendly, and professional. Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.)
