Job Summary
Lead a small team to deliver wraparound care experiences for children aged 4–11 after school, creating a safe, inclusive environment through sports, games, arts, and structured play. Manage daily operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure strict compliance with safeguarding policies, health & safety standards, and company guidelines. Build positive relationships with parents, carers, school staff, and colleagues while encouraging positive behaviour and independence among children. Work Monday to Friday from 15:20 to 18:00 during term time, with an option to work up to 40 hours during school holidays.
Required Qualifications
- A Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- Experience working with children in a childcare, education, or playwork environment
- Experience leading, supervising, or supporting a team
- Compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
- Exemption from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
- Two satisfactory references, including one from their most recent employer
- A childcare reference where applicable
- An Enhanced DBS check
- Documentation to support identity, right to work, and vetting requirements

- Experience as a Childcare Practitioner
- Relevant childcare experience and demonstrated strong leadership skills (for those without a Level 3 qualification)
