Job Summary
In the role of Childcare Activity Leader, you will assist in planning, developing and implementing classroom activities while ensuring the social, physical, spiritual, and mental development of children. Responsibilities also include maintaining classroom safety and cleanliness, documenting incidents, and communicating effectively with parents and staff. Candidates are expected to work summer months/Day Camp.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for driving responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Six months experience working in early childhood field strongly preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Candidates without a valid license may still be hired but will not be eligible to drive YMCA vehicles until requirements are met.
