Job Summary
The Child Youth Assessment Therapist provides psychiatric emergency services, conducts school clearance assessments, and develops individual service plans to address client needs. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, family and group therapy, advocacy for consumers and families, and maintaining clinical records. The role requires collaboration with other service providers, psychoeducation, and facilitating psychoeducational groups for school staff, families, and youth.
Required Qualifications
- NJ Clinical License (LCSW/LPC)
- Master’s degree (MA, MS, MSW) in a recognized mental health discipline
- Driver's License in good standing
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical experience working with individuals and/or families
- Experience in providing crisis intervention
- Ability to engage and assess consumer strengths and needs
- Experience developing and facilitating psychoeducational groups
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
