Job Summary
SNAP Child Worker facilitates groups using the Stop Now And Plan curriculum, teaches emotional regulation, anger management, and de-escalation; conducts case management to build therapeutic relationships with school-aged youth; communicates with families, schools, and community organizations to develop behavior-management strategies; recruits families via community outreach; designs and delivers creative projects to foster youth development; position primarily located in McKeesport with travel to training/meetings at the Main Campus in McKeesport; requires working varied hours including evenings; Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required; bachelor's degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related field; valid PA driver’s license and vehicle; 2+ years’ experience with children 6-11; comprehensive benefits offered.
