Job Summary
Child Well-Being Specialist duties include monitoring environments and interactions to assess child welfare concerns, advising facility decision-making on child well-being, documenting case information in EMR, providing crisis support and de-escalation for children and families, delivering culturally sensitive education and tools for staff, and coordinating resources to support children. Requires Master’s in Behavioral Health and active licensure (LCSW/LICSW, LMFT, LPC, or LP) with 2+ years post-licensure experience in child development and trauma-centered care; 1+ year in a multidisciplinary team; preferred bilingual English/Spanish; must be able to work flexible hours in a 24/7 environment and travel as required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication, adaptability, collaboration, research, problem solving, attention to detail, and English literacy are required; travel to job sites and meeting participation across time zones are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Behavioral Health or related field
- Full, current, and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Doctor-level prepared psychologist (LP), or equivalent.
- 2+ years demonstrated post-licensure work experience in child development, culturally aware and trauma-centered care, performing clinical evaluations in direct engagement with children and their families
- 1+ year experience working in a multidisciplinary team-based environment
