Job Summary
Leadership-level Child Welfare Specialist V supervising a unit within Child Protective Services; conducts interviews and selects team applicants; maintains personnel records and completes performance evaluations; trains new staff, performs case reviews, and develops in-services training programs; coordinates with other Child Welfare Supervisors and District Directors regarding case actions and referrals; audits and tracks referrals to ensure delivery of contractual services; requires a Master's Degree in Social Work (masters degree incentive applies) or a bachelor's degree with equivalent experience, and acceptance of extensive travel; must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance; position located in Wewoka, OK, within the Oklahoma Civil Service and OKDHS. More details include annual salary of $58,847.88 plus full state employee benefits and a 5% salary incentive for MSW holders.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Social Work
- two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist OR Bachelor's Degree plus three years OR four years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist
