Job Summary
Lead workers and mentor lower-level Child Welfare Specialists within Child Protective Services, Family Centered Services, and Permanency Planning. Serve as team leaders in staff meetings, providing ongoing case consultation and training in case management and policy interpretation. Carry complex and difficult caseloads while monitoring investigations, individualized service plans, and reviewing court reports. May also act as backup supervisors and assist in coordinating Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children efforts. This specialist-level role requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience and involves extensive travel with a valid driver's license.
