Job Summary
Lead worker and mentor a unit of lower-level Child Welfare Specialists within Child Protective Services, Family Centered Services, and Permanency Planning. Provide ongoing case consultation, advise on case management, and train staff on policy interpretation. Monitor investigations, individualized service plans, and court reports while assisting with Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children coordination. Carry complex caseloads and serve as a backup supervisor as needed. This role involves extensive travel and requires a valid driver's license. Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in Social Work or equivalent Bachelor's Degree with two years of experience. Annual salary is $52,217.89 plus potential incentives for Master's degree holders and on-call bonuses.
