Job Summary
The Child Welfare Case Aide will perform a variety of social work, group, and outreach activities under general supervision. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with written plans, meeting productivity requirements, monitoring clients, linking them to appropriate services, and submitting necessary reports accurately and timely. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of child development are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or GED) required
- Valid driver's license in good standing for the state of residency required
- Access to reliable transportation for visits, meetings, and to transport clients as needed
- Record of compliance with the law and clearance on the Illinois CANTS
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage
Desired Qualifications
- AA Degree with two years of college preferred
- Basic knowledge of child development and parenting or equivalent life experience
