Job Summary
Child Welfare Assistant in Oklahoma City, OK. Responsibilities include administrative and programmatic support: inputting case documentation, compiling social and economic data, scheduling meetings with clients and other stakeholders, assisting clients in obtaining required information and documents, performing basic computer searches for client histories, providing information to case management, and retrieving court, law enforcement, and agency reports. The role involves contacting public and private health, welfare, and social agencies to obtain services for clients and their families. Required Qualifications
- Six months of general office clerical work, providing care for children in a licensed day care facility, sales, or public contact work (for Assistant I)
- One year of clerical experience in governmental or non-profit social services provider environment (for Assistant II)
- One year of clerical experience in a governmental or non-profit social services provider environment plus two additional years in a child welfare environment (for Assistant III)
