Job Summary
Lead the child watch program by supervising staff, coordinating activities, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children while parents enjoy facility amenities. Manage daily operations by overseeing programming, addressing parent inquiries via phone and email, and training child watch staff on developmental needs and safety protocols. Maintain a clean, welcoming space and support the Child Watch Manager in delivering quality experiences that foster fun, learning, and socialization.
Required Qualifications
- One year of lead employment in childcare setting
- Knowledge of school-age child development and experience
- Knowledge of a variety of age-appropriate activities for children
- The ability to plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities
- A love for working with children
- Sensitivity to the needs of families including adults and children
- Must be patient, enthusiastic and relate well with parents and children
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Background check and drug screen required
- Knowledgeable of safety training, procedures and best practices used throughout the sports and wellness industry
- Monday, Thursday, Friday: 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 6:45 AM - 4:00 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Solid understanding of child development and behavior management
- Ability to plan and lead creative, developmentally appropriate activities
