Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •High School Diploma or GED equivalency
• •At least 18 years of age
• •At least two years of successful experience working with children
• •At least 1 year experience supervising staff
• •Computer literate with proficient typing skills and the ability to use new software programs with basic training
• •Excellent telephone skills with the ability to maintain a non-judgmental attitude in working with guests, members and staff
• •TB clearance
• •Valid driver's license and insured transportation
• •CPR/First Aid/AED certification at time of hire or ability to be certified within 30 days after hire date
• •Ability to pass a criminal history information check
• •Must be able to lift and carry children and equipment
• •Must be able to push/pull/lifting/carrying 25-50 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds
• •Must be in excellent physical and mental health
• •Must be able to give emergency care
• •Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
• •Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain poise under pressure
• •Must possess the self-discipline necessary to perform repetitive tasks without lowering quality of work
• •Must be able to work with limited supervision
• •Must be able to supervise others effectively
• •Must possess knowledge of age appropriate child care
• •Must be creative in planning and providing activities for that care
• •Must be able to interact with co-workers and the public in a positive professional manner
