Job Summary
Closely supervise all children attending Child Watch to maintain a safe environment, knowing the exact number of children in the room and adhering to required staff-to-child ratios. Implement age-appropriate activities for children ages 6 weeks to 10 years, including indoor play, crafts, games, and sports. Perform facility cleaning duties and communicate regularly with parents, peers, and supervisors about child progress and safety. Maintain current ARC/YMCA First Aid, CPR, and Blood Borne Pathogens certifications. This year-round part-time role offers 10-25 hours per week with flexible morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts. Bilingual staff receive a +10% differential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Dependable
- Self-motivated
- Committed to being a positive role model for youth
- Ability to occasionally serve as a substitute if needed
- Current ARC/YMCA First Aid, CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens within 30 days of being hired
