Job Summary
Conduct telephone and in-person interviews to determine customer service needs and identify next steps in case management. Initiate locate procedures for customer addresses, employment, and assets while obtaining information to establish child support orders. Access state systems and internet resources for case data, then prepare legal and administrative documents for attorney or supervisor review. File pleadings with court clerks, enter docket numbers and dates into the state computer system, and attend court to assist in case resolution. Complete attorney-directed follow-up within required time frames, ensuring all State, Federal, and contractual deadlines are met while maintaining strict confidentiality of case information.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Regular and timely attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year related work experience
- Experience in human services as a case manager or child support
- Familiarity with an office environment including the use of automated systems
