Child Support Specialist - Customer Service Call Center

Job Summary
Provide professional customer service in the child support process, interviewing customers by telephone and in person to determine service needs and the next steps in case management; ensure state, federal, and contractual time frames are met for establishing and/or enforcing child support orders; perform locate procedures to determine addresses, employment, and assets; prepare cases and necessary documents for review by staff attorney or administrator; respond to inquiries from employers, customers, and other states; maintain confidentiality and security of case information while delivering timely, accurate support services.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experience preferred
- Experience in human services as a case manager or child support preferred
- Familiarity with an office environment including the use of automated systems
