Job Summary
Provide individualized supervision and therapeutic support to youth in residence, ensuring their safety and well-being while modeling positive behaviors. Teach daily living skills, facilitate household management including cleaning and meal preparation, and participate in service planning and family engagement efforts. Escort residents to appointments and activities, offer counseling and behavioral support, and assist with medication adherence. Complete all required documentation and reporting accurately, maintain a trauma-informed milieu, and comply with OMH ratio regulations of 3:1 during awake hours. Work Sat-Sun 4PM-12AM as a compassionate team member within WellLife Network's Community Residence Program.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Experience working with children with emotional or behavioral needs
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred
- Associate's degree in human services or a related field
