Job Summary
Provide daily instructional support to assigned students in line with their Individualized Educational Plans, including maintaining confidentiality, assisting with personal health and safety protocols, and implementing structured behavior plans. Compile daily reports of student accomplishments and behaviors for educator meetings and progress reviews, while providing escorts and assistance throughout the building as needed. Substitute for teachers when requested and participate in assigned professional development programs. Work with children of varying abilities, modify student work to match developmental levels, and communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and administration.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in education or related field
- demonstrated specialized knowledge and skills
- experience in working within an educational setting
