Child Protective Services Worker (Social Service Specialist 1)

As a Child Protective Services Worker, you will respond to referrals, interview children and families, observe home environments, perform child safety assessments, and make determinations of abuse or neglect with protective action when necessary. You will develop service plans to meet the needs of children and families, arrange medical evaluations and placements, connect families with services, create reports and case notes, testify in court, and communicate with diverse populations.
