Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents on a college-style campus reside in on-campus homes with 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentoring, and a structured family-like environment. Responsibilities include supervising routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, managing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role. Requires high school diploma or GED, two-year married status, both spouses 27+, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; prior experience with youth preferred; drivers license and van-certification ability required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license or ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
