Job Summary
Provide daily supervision and mentorship to groups of 8–13 students in on-campus homes as a Full-time Flex Houseparent couple. Responsibilities include managing household routines and schedules, administering medications and student wellness, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from rotating duty to a placed houseparent in a dedicated student home. Requires two-person, married couple team living on campus, with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and includes relocation assistance + paid training. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, HSA/FSA, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, PTO, and comprehensive compensation (~$168,000 per couple). Qualifying traits include experience with youth, a HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lead devotions, and compliance with campus policies and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Copy of individual employment applications for both spouses
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
