Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School to supervise and guide 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, and supervision, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and Chapel, oversee household routines and budgeting, and report on household operations. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with eventual placement in a single student home, and includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
