Job Summary
Two-person on-campus Full-time Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School for married couples. Provide supervision, mentorship, medications administration, transportation, and engagement in developmental/recreational activities for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily routines, devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and guiding students toward academic, emotional, and social growth. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a permanent houseparent assignment. Includes relocation assistance and paid training; benefits cover medical, dental, vision, retirement, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications as a couple
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth

Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
