Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple homes and transitions to a Placed Houseparent in a single home. Requires married couple team, both spouses must be 27+, High school diploma or GED, US driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse team must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
