Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on campus in student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and progresses to a Placed Houseparent position living with the same group of students. Benefits include a per-person salary of $44,768 (about $168,000 total for the couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO, along with on-campus housing and meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications by both spouses
