Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, a two-person married couple living on-campus to supervise and support 8–13 students in an on-site home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on / three days off to a placed Houseparent role with a dedicated student home. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Two-person role for couples
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
