Job Summary
Full-time flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes to provide care, supervision, and guidance for approximately 8–13 students, including daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning recreational/developmental activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and may transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, PTO, and housing/meal provisions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
