Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (a two-person, married-couple role) reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, and developmental activities for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle across multiple homes, then transitions to a placed Houseparent role in a single student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year minimum for the two-person role
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
