Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes at Milton Hershey School to supervise and guide 8–13 students each. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially these couples support multiple homes on a rotating nine-on/three-off schedule, with eventual placement into a single student home. Benefits include a salary of $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 per couple), relocation assistance, comprehensive health benefits, retirement options, paid time off, and training. Requirements include youth-experience, being a legally married two-person couple aged 27+, adherence to campus conduct rules, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED; both spouses must apply separately.
Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse role for couples legally married for at least two years

- Valid U.S. driver’s license

- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness for nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off (initial schedule) but eventual placement in a fixed home
