Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents responsibilities include supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role progresses from initial placement in various student homes with a nine-on/three-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse marriage required for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor students
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
